Schneider Electric Micom P643 Protection Relay
The Schneider MiCOM P643 relay series provides fast and complete protection for transformer faults, helping preserve transformer service life. Designed for two and three winding transformers (including autotransformers), it’s easy to use, with a simple setting wizard that only requires nameplate data. Available models: MiCOM P642, MiCOM P643, MiCOM P645.Transformers are significant capital investments in electrical systems, and while eliminating all electrical and mechanical stresses to extend transformer life is ideal, it’s not practical. Adaptive techniques for fault detection and alarm (or trip) functionality help plan preventive maintenance before expensive failures occur
